The Last Slave Traders - Spectrum Books 1999 - 98

The Last Slave Traders dramatises the mental and emotional subjugation, destruction of self-worth and the dehumanisation and reduction to nothingness of employees by their white employers. Personified by Jadin, The french Managing Director of OSCA who is so addicted to the old order, the slave trader reduces his employees to dust, without regards for status or colour. Laurent however aarrives to challenge Jadin's ruthlessness. But the face-off does not last and when Laurent eventually replaces Jadin as MD, he turns a worse example of one of the last slave traders.
